100 g of gel contains: dense extract of: chamomile flower-basket, calendula flower-basket, coltsfoot leaf, oak bark, sage leaf, thyme herb (Extractum spissum (6-12:1) ex: Matricariae anthodio 2.0 cz, Calendulae anthodio 0.5 cz, Farfarae folio 1.4 cz, Quercus cortice 3.0 cz, Salviae folio 2.0 cz, Thymi herba 1.0 cz (extractants: methanol 90% [v/v], water) – 10.0 g; allantoin (Allantoinum) – 0.1 g; chamomile essential oil (Matricariae aetheroleum) – 0.3 g; peppermint essential oil (Menthae piperitae aetheroleum) – 0.3 g.
Excipients: lidocaine hydrochloride, sodium benzoate E211, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, bronopol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate E214, purified water.
Superficially as an astringent, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, as well as a topical anesthetic, accelerating granulation and wound healing. Topically applied to the oral mucosa as a traditional adjuvant in the treatment of periodontal disease and inflammation of the oral cavity (such as sores from dentures). In conditions after periodontal surgery, the product can be used only with the indications of a dentist.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Mucosit should be used immediately after brushing teeth, 1 – 2 cm of gel should be rubbed into the gums 2 – 3 times a day for 3 minutes with a fingertip or soft brush. If you apply the gel with your finger, wash your hands thoroughly before and after application. You can also apply the gel with cotton buds.
Hypersensitivity to local anesthetics or other components of the drug. People with allergies to birch pollen or celery may have cross-sensitivity to thyme. Also, do not use the product if you have a known hypersensitivity to plants in the Asteraceae family, such as chamomile or Lamiaceae.
