A unique silymarin-phospholipid complex combines the support for liver cell membrane structure characteristic of phospholipids with the active protection of cells provided by silymarin.
1 coated tablet contains the active ingredient: 100 mg of a silymarin-phospholipid complex containing 30% flavonolignans (expressed as silybin) and 1.5% phosphorus.
Essylimar® is used as an adjunctive treatment for liver dysfunction.
Adults: The usual dosage is 1 tablet 3 times a day for chronic conditions, and 2 tablets 3 times a day for acute conditions. Take the medication after meals.
Children and adolescents: This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years of age; for adolescents under 18 years of age, use is possible only after consulting a doctor.
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients.
