50 mg of dry extract of milk thistle husk (Silybi mariani fructus extractum siccum, DER 20-34:1, extractant – methanol 90%)
It is used supportively in states of convalescence after toxic-metabolic liver damage caused, among other things, by toxic agents (such as alcohol, pesticides) and in indigestion (bloating, belching) after eating hard-to-digest foods. Supportively in complaints after acute and chronic liver diseases.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3 times a day 2 tablets after eating, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor. The drug requires systematic use, for a period of 2-4 weeks to a treatment of 6 months. The duration of use of the drug should be consulted with a doctor. After consultation with a doctor and after more serious poisoning, the dose can be increased to 10 tablets per day. The daily minimum dose is 200 mg, while the maximum dose is 400 mg of silymarin.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or plants of the Compositae/Asteraceae family. No studies have been conducted regarding the use of silymarin in children, so the drug is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
