Dried, powdered juice of aloe vera leaves (Aloe capensis) with anthranoid compounds converted to aloin 18% – 35 mg; dry extract of buckthorn bark (Frangulae corticis extractum siccum, DER 5-8:1, extractant: methanol) with anthranoid compounds converted to aloin 15% – 42 mg. One tablet contains 10-15 mg of anthranoid compounds converted to alloin.
Alax is a herbal medicinal product for short-term use in occasional constipation.
Adolescents over 12 years of age, adults, the elderly: in the evening, 1-2 irritated tablets wash down with a glass of water. The appropriate single dose is the smallest dose that causes an effortless bowel movement in the form of soft stool. Do not exceed the daily dose of 30 mg of anthrax, which corresponds to approximately 2 tablets per day. Use of the product for longer than 1-2 weeks requires consultation with a doctor.
Confirmed hypersensitivity to active substances or hypersensitivity to any component of the product. Cases of intestinal obstruction and intestinal stenosis, intestinal atony, appendicitis, inflammatory diseases of the large intestine (e.g. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis); abdominal pain of unknown origin; severe dehydration with water and electrolyte deficiency. Children under 12 years of age.
