Aesculan®

1 g maści zawiera substancje czynne: wyciąg suchy z kory kasztanowca (Aesculus hippocastanum L., cortex (40-90:1), rozpuszczalnik ekstrakcyjny: metanol 90 % (v/v)) 62,5 mg; lidokainy chlorowodorek (Lidocaini hydrochloridum) 5 mg.

Hemorrhoidal disease.

Adults: unless otherwise instructed by the doctor, use the enclosed cannula to apply the gel to the affected area or push it into the rectum about 0.5 – 1.0 g (a band of gel about 2 cm long), 2 – 3 times a day until acute symptoms subside. Then the dose can be reduced by applying the gel once a day. The preparation should be used until the symptoms subside. If there is no improvement after 7 days of use, or if there is an exacerbation of the symptoms associated with hemorrhoidal disease, contact your doctor.

Do not use Aesculan if there is hypersensitivity to the active substances or to the excipients, allergy to amide local anesthetics and/or to plants of the Asteraceae family.
