We are launching an initiative to express gratitude and support for an extremely important professional group – Emergency Medical Technicians.
Paramedics are the true heroes of our time. Their work is much more than just performing medical procedures. It is a readiness to act at any time, regardless of the time of day or night. It’s providing help in the most difficult situations, often under extreme conditions. It’s making quick, often life-altering decisions under tremendous time pressure. It’s being a support and hope for those in need.
Their profession requires not only deep medical knowledge and a wide range of skills, but, above all, extraordinary mental resilience, empathy and huge reserves of energy.
On September 28, we had the honor of visiting the University Clinical Hospital in Poznań, one of the leading medical institutions in Greater Poland. During the visit to the Hospital Emergency Department, we had the opportunity to personally get acquainted with the daily, extremely demanding work of paramedics.
Recognizing the contribution of ED staff to providing top-quality medical care, we wanted to make their daily service at least a little more pleasant. To this end we donated a coffee machine, a supply of teas as well as coffee itself hoping that this small gesture will help improve working conditions and allow them a moment’s respite during their intensive duty.
Our initiative aims to draw attention to the extremely important role that paramedics play in our society. We want to express our gratitude to them for their daily effort and dedication. At the same time, we want to encourage others to show support for this extremely deserving professional group.
