The active substances of the drug are liquid extract of cinquefoil rhizome, ammonium sulfobituminate and zinc oxide, Extractant – ethanol 30°.
100 g of ointment contains 30 mg of liquid extract of cinquefoil rhizome, 20 mg of sulfobituminate and 200 mg of zinc oxide.
The other ingredients of the medicine are: lanolin, yellow petrolatum.
The drug cinquefoil ointment is indicated for the topical treatment of minor skin lesions, such as abrasions of the epidermis, scratches.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use the following dosage regimen.
Use externally. Adults and children over 12 years of age: apply a thin layer of ointment with your hands 2-3 times a day to the affected skin. Wash hands thoroughly before and after use.
If you feel that the effect of cinquefoil ointment is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
Do not use on open wounds and severely damaged skin.
The medicine is for external use only. Due to its dark color, the ointment may stain clothes. Avoid contact with eyes and do not use near mucous membranes.
