The active substance of the drug is a liquid extract of the rhizome of the cinquefoil, ammonium sulfobituminate and zinc oxide, Extractant – ethanol 30°.
100 g of ointment contains 30 mg of a liquid extract of the rhizome of the cinquefoil, 20 mg of sulfobituminate and 200 mg of zinc oxide.
Other ingredients of the drug are: lanolin, yellow petrolatum.
Potentilla complex ointment is indicated for the local treatment of minor skin damage, such as abrasions, scratches.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use the following dosage regimen.
Use externally. Adults and children over 12 years of age: apply a thin layer of ointment with your hands 2-3 times a day to the affected skin. Wash hands thoroughly before and after use.
If you feel that the effect of cinquefoil ointment is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
Do not apply to open wounds or significantly damaged skin.
The medicine is for external use only. Due to its dark color, the ointment may stain clothing. Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply near mucous membranes.
