The drug Rivanol 0.1% is in the form of a liquid for use on the skin. Rivanol 0.1% contains the active substance etacridine lactate, which belongs to the group of acridine dyes with antimicrobial activity. Etacridine lactate acts on streptococci, staphylococci and other Gram-positive bacteria.
