Field horsetail – how does it work and what to use it for?

Horsetail’s active substances not only help regenerate damaged tissues, but also seal blood vessels and counteract swelling.

The active substances contained in horsetail herb have an astringent and regenerative effect on the skin. They also have properties that increase the resistance of the epidermis to harmful environmental factors. Silicon compounds improve the elasticity of the epidermis, connective tissue and mucous membranes.

Teas made from field horsetail herb should be reached especially by people with minor urinary dysfunctions. Infusions from the herb of this plant are used as an aid in the prevention of edema and in conditions resulting from the retention of water and electrolytes in the body.
