We are happy to announce that Herbapol Poznan’s President, Tomasz Kaczmarek, won first place in the category of Business in Poznan in the plebiscite Personality of the Year 2023.
He received the award from the Chapter of Głos Wielkopolski for his contribution to the local community, in particular for implementing the project of a four-day work week at Herbapol Poznań, without reducing wages.
Tomasz Kaczmarek had been dreaming about this project for several years, and it was only possible thanks to the joint effort and commitment of all employees.
In his own words: “I would like to emphasize how responsible this project is for the company. The implementation required great commitment and good planning from all of us to ensure the continuity and security of business and production processes. This is not only a different approach to time management, but also a huge responsibility for our employees and the company’s efficiency.”
Also important is the social dimension of this project, which promotes the development of the Work-Life Balance concept, which aims to improve employees’ quality of life through better time management between work and private life. Currently, the project is at the stage of two free Fridays per month. We believe that our actions, further work on the implementation of the project, as well as the distinction received by the President of our company, will inspire other organizations, encouraging them to introduce similar initiatives in their structures.
