Active substance
1g of gel contains active substances: dry extract of horse chestnut bark (Aesculus hippocastanum L., cortex (40-90: 1), extraction solvent: methanol 90% (v/v)) 50 mg; lidocaine hydrochloride (Lidocaini hydrochloridum) 5 mg.
Dosage and method of administration
Adults: unless the doctor advises otherwise, use the attached cannula to apply the gel to the affected area or squeeze approx. 0.5–1.0 g (a strip of gel about 2 cm long) into the rectum, 2–3 times a day, until the acute symptoms disappear. Then the dose can be reduced by applying the gel once a day. The preparation should be used until the symptoms subside. If there is no improvement after 7 days of using the preparation or if the symptoms related to hemorrhoidal disease become more severe, contact your doctor.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the preparation’s ingredients.
