Active substance
1 tablet contains 200 mg of 200 mg Allium sativum L.,bulbus (garlic bulb) and 53.5 mg of Urtica dioica L. folium (nettle leaf)
Indications
A traditional herbal medicinal product used for prevention and as an aid for mild infections of the upper respiratory tract (colds).
Dosage and administration
As a prevention of upper respiratory tract infections: adults – 1 tablet 3 times a day. As an aid for mild upper respiratory tract infections (colds): adults – 1–3 tablets, 3 times a day. The product should be taken after main meals. Do not chew the tablets. Children and youths under 18 years: Not recommended, can be used with youths on consultation with a doctor.
Duration of usage: For prevention, the medicinal product can be used for up to 6 months without consulting a doctor. When using the product for the treatment of colds, consult a doctor when the symptoms do not improve or resolve, or when they intensify after 7 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any active substance or excipient. Allergy to sulphur compounds, liver failure, bronchial asthma, alimentary allergies. Special warnings and precautions for use: During the use of Alliofil formulation, sulphur compounds are excreted with sweat through the skin, and through lungs, resulting in changed skin and breath odour.
