Rivanol 0.1% is a liquid for topical application. Rivanol 0.1% contains the active ingredient ethacridine lactate, which belongs to the group of acridine dyes with antibacterial activity. Ethacridine lactate is effective against streptococci, staphylococci, and other Gram-positive bacteria.
1 g of the topical solution contains 1 mg of ethacridine lactate (Ethacridini lactas).
Disinfection of the skin and superficial skin lesions (e.g., abrasions).
Dosage
This medicinal product is intended for topical application to the skin.
Rivanol 0.1% is applied several times a day in the form of compresses, soaks, and rinses.
